MySQL Connect will be held in San Francisco on Saturday September 29th and Sunday September 30th, with a Saturday night reception. This is a technical conference about MySQL, bringing together MySQL engineers at Oracle and the MySQL Community, and will include sessions about the latest MySQL features and the MySQL feature roadmaps. Submit your proposal to MySQL Connect, due Sunday May 6th.

Collaborate, the technology and applications forum for the Oracle Community, has 18 MySQL sessions. Collaborate runs from Sunday, April 22nd through Thursday, April 26th, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Nevada.

On Wednesday, April 25th in London, Oracle is offering a free seminar, including breakfast, on scaling MySQL.

Oracle is also having a free seminar on High Availability with MySQL in Belmont, CA on Thu Apr 26th.

There is a free webcast on "Building High Performance and High Traffic PHP Applications with MySQL - The Fundamentals" on Thursday, April 26, 2012 geared towards the Asia-Pacific time zones.

LinuxFest Northwest will be happening on Saturday April 28th and Sunday April 29th. The MySQL eco-system is usually well represented, Bryan Aker of HP, Colin Charles of Mariadb, Max Mether of Skysql and (Gerry) myself will be presenting. If you will be in the Pacific NW, you should consider attending. It's a lively event less than 90 min North of Seattle and 1hs S of Vancouver. Registration is not required, as the event is free.

There is a free afternoon Oracle seminar on MySQL Enterprise at Oracle in Düsseldorf, Germany on Tuesday, May 8th. Topics will include the MySQL enterprise monitor, query analyzer and external authentication using windows active directory and the linux PAM module, which is being called MySQL Enterprise Security.

There is a free morning Oracle seminar on High Availability Solutions for MySQL in Helsinki, Finland on Thursday, May 10th, and a free afternoon Oracle seminar on Scaling MySQL, to be held Tuesday, May 22nd from 12:45 to 5 pm at the Best Western Premier Hotel am Borsigturm in Berlin Germany.

SkySQL is offering a training on performance tuning mysql in Paris on May 15, 2012 – May 18, 2012 and Jun 18, 2012 – Jun 21, 2012. The performance tuning class is not the only available class at the moment, check out the full schedule.

Oracle will be bringing their free 4-hour seminar on High availability solutions based on MySQL toMünchen, Germany on Wednesday, May 23rd and Baden-Dättwil, Switzerland (near Zurich) on Thursday, May 24th.

On Tuesday June 5th, 2012, a MySQL Innovation Day is being hosted at Oracle’s Conference Center in Redwood Shores, California. The MySQL Innovation day will feature multiple “lightning” talks by Oracle’s MySQL Engineers. If you cannot make it out to California, the lightning talks will be available via a live webcast, too - so either way, save the date! If you can make it there physically, register for free here.

OpenSQLCamp US will be co-located with the Southeast LinuxFext, or SELF. SELF is Friday, June 8th through Sunday, June 10th in Charlotte, North Carolina. Registration is free for both OpenSQLCamp and the Southeast LinuxFest. There is a MySQL day on Friday, June 8th, a database track on Saturday for chosen presentations, and an unconference style day for OpenSQLCamp talks on Sunday. Registration is free, and includes lunches as well as all sessions Friday through Sunday.

The 1st Latin American Conference about Mysql, NoSQL and Cloud technologies will be held in Buenos Aires Wednesday, June 27th through Friday, June 29th at the Puerto Madero Hilton Hotel. Speakers are being announced every day, so keep watching the website!
